A plane has crashed onto the A40 on the outskirts of a Welsh village.
Smoke can be seen billowing across the dual carriageway. Those on board are said to have been seriously hurt and have received major Burns.
The incident happened near the village of Abergavenny
The plane came down into dual carriageway and narrowly missed a car. The A40 will be closed for some time until AAIB attend.
Emergency services are now dealing with a “police incident” between Raglan and Abergavenny, and the road has been closed in both directions.
A spokesman for Gwent Police said: “Diversions are in place which may cause congestion.
“Avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey.”
