The cases in the borough continue to rise with 168 cases recorded up to 22 October. This gives us a weekly rate of 98.2 per 100,000. Wokingham remains below the England weekly rate but is slightly above the South East’s.
The biggest rise in cases had been among the 18 to 30 age group, but cases are now rising for those over the age of 60.
On the 29 October there were 1,248 confirmed cases of Covid-19 among Wokingham residents since the start of the pandemic. This is a rate of 729.3 per 100,000 people considering all cases to date. We remain well below the England average.
