BERKSHIRE Breaking Reading

This year, none of us will have a presence in the town centre (for obvious reasons) – but we’d like to encourage you to mark World Homeless Day

Today is #WorldHomelessDay and we’d usually be manning an information stand on the high street (then go on to the Big Sleep Out!) – along with all the other fantastic organisations who support vulnerable people in Reading. We’d collectively spend all day talking to the public about our services and why individuals, couples and families can find themselves facing homelessness.

This year, none of us will have a presence in the town centre (for obvious reasons) – but we’d like to encourage you to mark World Homeless Day by sharing this post and liking the pages of all the incredible agencies that provide a lifeline for those who desperately need it in our town.

By helping us raise awareness of the issues affecting people who are rough sleeping or at risk of losing their home – as well as the vital support that is out there – we can all play our part in preventing homelessness in the first place.
