Man arrested in Police Murder Probe after Fatal Stabbing in Finchampstead

Wokingham,,Berkshire, Sunday 26th November 2017 A Property remains sealed off with tributes and flowers placed by family members outside as Police continue to investigate after a man has died from a stab wound. Police say one man has bene arrested on suspicion of Murder.

Relatives of the dead man attended and had to be helped by officers one broke down in tears at the scene.

Thames Valley Police has arrested a man on suspicion of murder following an incident in Finchampstead yesterday (24th November 2017).
Officers were called to reports of a stabbing at a property in Dart Close at around 11.15pm.

They attended along with the ambulance service whose staff treated a 29-year-old local man at the scene. Sadly, he died in the early hours of this morning (25/11).

Earlier today, officers arrested a 24-year-old man from Finchampstead on suspicion of murder in connection with this incident. He currently remains in custody.

There will be a heightened police presence in the area as the investigation continues.
