Is your child the next karate kid – new beginners classes starting next week with a free trial

Sensei Amie Benton has been training in martial arts since 1992 and is currently graded 3rd degree black belt in Goju Ryu Karate. Woodley Goju Ryu Karate Club was founded by Sensei Amie in 2009.

Sensei Amie is also a qualified Personal Trainer, FA Level 2 Football Coach, First Aider, DBS checked, NSPCC child protection in sport and is fully insured. Her interests also include playing ladies Football and Kickboxing.

She has trained for many years under Sensei Norma Robertson and Sensei John Barnes (1992 – 2015) and with Sensei Andre Leister, 5th degree black belt, (2016 – 2018) associated with the English Goju Ryu Karate Association.

In 2019 Sensei Amie joined the Goju-Ryu Karate-Do International (GKI) under Chief Instructor Len Sims (8th Dan) and trains regularly in Wokingham, Berkshire.

Sensei Len trains hard to maintain his skills and pass on the teaching and regularly trains with GKI Chief Instructor Sensei James Rousseau (9th Dan) to keep standards of martial arts high, which maintains a high standard within our club. You can be assured that you or your children will be taught to the highest standard.

Tuesday 3:45 – 4:15pm (Age 4-6)
 
Wednesday 3:45 – 4:15pm (Age 4-6)
 
Juniors
Thursday 4:00 – 4:45pm (Age 7+)
 
5 other weekly classes running too but these have limited spaces available
