Get your happy feet on, it’s time to celebrate.
Living Streets, have created the greatest national Walk to School celebration, where pupils and grown-ups around the UK unite for one week of walking to school.
The five-day walking challenge aimed at primary schools is a fun and engaging week-long activity, raising awareness and celebrating walking for all.
This year youre invited to join in celebrating the incredible physical and mental health benefits walking brings to every individual.
It’s not too late to join in! If you’ve missed the national celebration, the good news is that our resources are undated so you can take part whenever it works for your school!
The classrooms packs and activities are built to make pupils experience first-hand the importance of walking to school.
Each pupil will be challenged to walk, cycle, scoot or park and stride to school every day for one week using our fun and interactive wallchart and stickers to log their journeys and learn about walking benefits collectively. Individual activity diaries and reward stickers will complement this activity, reinforcing the benefits and keeping children engaged.
Each pack is suitable for a class of up to 30 pupils and activities are curriculum-aligned.
Inside each pack you’ll find:
- Teacher guidance and parent information
- One classroom wallchart with stickers for teacher

- 30 pupil activity diaries (KS1/P1-3 & KS2/P4-7 will have different activities to suit, around the same theme)
