Man and boy arrested in connection with incident of grievous bodily harm

 

A man and a boy have been arrested in connection with an incident of grievous bodily harm in Reading.

A 20-year-old man from Reading was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.

A 16-year-old boy, also from Reading, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Both have been released on conditional police bail.

It is in connection with an incident that happened in Strathy Close . One man sustained a stab wound and another man sustained head injuries caused by being hit over the head with a bottle.

Investigating officer Detective Inspector Marc Skinner, based at Reading police station said: “Officers have made further arrests in connection with this incident.

“However we would still appeal to anyone who witnessed it, or who has any information, to please come forward and speak to police.
